Lesson Nineteen covers pg(s) 183-191
There is in man a soul which is similar to that of animals. It is the soul that is responsible for man’s natural feelings and intelligence. In man’s animal soul, certain attributes and faculties can also be distinguished. These include imagination, memory, intelligence and will.
There is in man a much higher spiritual component which is distinct from his animal soul, and totally disassociated from it. This higher is placed in man only in order to give him a connection to the Spiritual Roots of Creation, and it is this connection which allows man’s deeds to exert great influence upon Creation’s Roots.
