Parsha Chayei Sarah Aliyah 6

Bereishit (Genesis) 25:1-11

1Avraham perceived and took a while whose name was Keturah. 2She bore him Zimran, Yokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. 3Yokshan begot Sheva and Dedan, and the children of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim. 4And the children of Midian: Ephah and Epher, Hanoch, Avida, and Elda’ah; all these were the descendants of Keturah. 5Avraham gave all that he had to Yitzchak. 6But to the concubine-children who were Avraham’s, Avraham gave gifts; then he sent them away from Yitzchak his son, while he was still alive, eastward to the land of the East.

7Now these are the days of the years of Avraham’s life which he lived: a hundred years, seventy years, and five years. 8And Avraham expired and died at a good old age, mature and content, and he was gathered to his people. 9His sons Yitzchak and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Zohar on the son of Zohar the Hittite, facing Mamre. 10The field, that Avraham had bought from the children of Heth; there Avraham was buried and Sarah his wife. 11And it was after the death of Avraham that G-d blessed Yitzchak his son, and Yitzchak settled near Beer-lahai-roi.
