Parsha Toldot Aliyah 7

Bereishit (Genesis) 28:5—9

5So Yitzchak sent away Yaakov and he went toward Paddan-aram, to Lavan the son of Bethuel the Aramean, brother of Rivkah, mother of Yaakov and Esau.

6When Esau saw that Yitzchak had blessed Yaakov and sent him off to Paddan-aram to take a wife for himself, as he blessed him he commanded him, saying, “You shall not take a wife from among the daughters of Canaan”; 7and that Yaakov obeyed his father and mother and went to Paddan-aram; 8then Esau perceived that the daughters of Canaan were evil in the eyes of Yitzchak, his father. 9So Esau went to Ishmael and took Mahalath, the daughter of Ishmael son of Abraham, sister of Nebaioth, in addition to his wives, as a wife for himself.
